Openness Photo Contest
Adopt4Life will be hosting a photo contest that shows what openness in adoption looks like for our families. We are looking for candid, vibrant images that capture what openness looks like for you and your family.

By entering the contest, you give permission to Adopt4Life to use your photos in any of our materials, including print and social media. Entrant must be the adoptive parent or legal guardian of any children featured in the submitted photo and must be 18 years of age or older. For more details, please see our official rules below.
Official Rules
1. Contest is open to current Adopt4Life members in Ontario. Contest begins 12:00 A.M. EST on November 1, 2017 and ends on November 30, 2017 at 11:59 P.M. EST.
2. To enter, please submit a jpg file to contests@adopt4life.com. A person can submit multiple entries, each as a separate email.
3. Entrant must be the adoptive parent or legal guardian of any children featured in the submitted photo and must be 18 years of age or older. Entrant represents and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original, non-published work that does not infringe on the privacy, intellectual property, or other rights of any third parties and that the entrant either owns or has rights to convey any and all right and title in the submitted photo.
4. By submitting an entry, contestants agree that the submissions become property of Adopt4Life. In consideration of judges’ review of entries, contest entrants grant perpetual permission (except where prohibited by law) to Adopt4Life to use and license submitted photo(s)/image(s), along with entrants' name(s), for possible editorial, marketing, or promotional/advertising uses in any and all media (including Adopt4Life’s website, social media, newsletter, etc), without further permission, royalties, or license
5. One winner will be selected and at least 2 finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges; selected at the discretion of Adopt4Life. The Judge’s decisions are final and may not be appealed. The winner and finalists will be notified by email by December 15, 2017. If the winner and finalists are unreachable, or if prize notification is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, the prize will be deemed forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
6. One Grand Prize winner will be awarded a pre-paid gift card (approximate retail value: $100) and 1st finalist will receive a $50 pre-paid gift card and 2nd finalist will receive a $25 pre-paid gift card. The winner and finalists will be given 6 choices of gift cards to select from: Starbucks, Canadian Tire, President’s Choice, Chapters, Toys R Us or Shopper’s Drug Mart. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted, but prizes of equal or greater value may be supplied by Adopt4Life at Adopt4Life’s sole discretion.
7. By entering the contest, entrant holds harmless Adopt4Life from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, liability, actions or damages of any kind or in connection with: (1) entering contest (2) acceptance of any prize or (3) anything related to the contest and the awarding of prizes.
