Interacting and functioning in a growing support network is like navigating your way through interactions with a large extended family. You have a common interest - in this situation, your children who share the same Birth Country. You may have other similarities, but there are going to be varying ideas, believes and opinions on how to raise your transracially adopted child. Will you agree on all of them? Nope. Some of them? Of course. The trick is learning how to co-exist, for the benefit of our children. Finding a balance, deciding what works for you and your children. Sometimes that means agreeing to disagree.
