As an Adoption Practitioner I remember the adoptive mom who found and created an informal support group at her local coffee where she met other moms with adopted children, all in strollers.  They arranged to get together regularly, at the same location, to talk about their adjustment to being moms who adopted transracially.  Wow!! We’ve come a long way with Adopt4Life-available to all families at all stages of adoption with children or waiting for their adopted children of all ages with a range of needs.
